| The Packheiser Reunion this year took place in South Padre Island, on the southernmost gulf-coast of Texas. We drove there and had interested stops along the way and on the way back... En route we stopped in Roswell, NM, and Austin Texas, and on the way back home we stopped in Fredericksburg TX, and Tucumcari, NM. 6 days driving, 8-9 hours each time. Quite a lot of highway! 2 weeks after the reunion, Hurricane Dolly made a direct hit on South Padre! |
