Grandpa was the original owner.
This 1968 Black Panther Schwinn weighs in at 51 lbs., and features a buzzer horn in the frame. My grandpa, John Stacy, gave me this bike in 1988,
and for many years I rode it all around Chicagoland.
Grandpa died in 1993.

Since we moved to AZ. in 1995, the bike's been in my Mom's basement in Chicago. She recently  had it dismantled, boxed and shipped to us.

It took Chad 5 hours to reassemble it.
Maybe would've taken less time if I had not been "helping".
He even got the long broken horn to work.

Floyd rides in the basket.
Hey Gramps!  Here's lookin' at you!

These lockers are from the old Clarkdale High School which is now being renovated into a
Copper Mining Museum
(opening Autumn 2004).

They are originally from Aurora, Illinois. Almost everything in the United States was manufactured in Chicagoland.
Or so it seems.

This bear is really freaky. Its eyes roll back when you lay it down, and it makes a sick sort of wheezing sound when you squeeze it. It's from 1964, and I know this because it is stamped on its big bum.
