We drove to Colorado, spent a night camping at Arches National Park in Utah first, en route.
We enjoyed our visit with the Packheisers, the Roberts and all of the assorted family folk, and also enjoyed a stopover in Boulder to visit my favorite high school art teacher from Chicago, Dismas Rotta, and his wife Stefka Truisz, both artists, and old College Avenue NIU pal Tim Eggert who is a jazz guitarist and realty broker.
From Boulder we drove back with stops through New Mexico and historic Holbrook, AZ. and Petrified Forest National Park. |
