Chad and I did a road trip along highways 89, 71, 60, 72, and 95 to the west coast of Arizona. We camped at Buckskin Mountain State Park, and also spent a couple
of nights at Havasu Springs Resort.
A pleasant excursion!
We caught the very noisy start of the "Parker 425" race
We rented a lil' fishing boat from the Sandpoint Marina and went out for a 3 hour tour of Lake Havasu
"Modern in Every Way" -Highway 60,  Aguila AZ.
Highway 60, Arizona
The Nellie E. Saloon (www.thedesertbar.com) is an off-the-grid, solar powered saloon, tucked back into a canyon, 5 miles outside of Parker.
Havasu Springs Resort, 14 miles north of Parker.
We stayed here, at the Marina Motel.  Very nice and inexpensive.
Looking across at California.
