| After 2 wonderful days & nights in Door County, Wi., Mom, Floyd and I headed back to central Wisconsin, where we spent a night at our favorite old 1980s vacation spot, the TNT Ranch in Montello. After an afternoon wandering Madison we were back in Illinois where we caught up with Jim, Carla, Bob, and I made a visit out to Elgin to see Alice. She and I drove out to DeKalb for the afternoon, writing strange messages from "Chalky" all around campus with a couple pieces of found chalk. ("Chalky sez relax", "Viva Chalky!" etc.) |
